The VP-1210 is a lightweight, magnet-mounted vibration detector that captures rotational engine speeds by sensing engine-induced vibration at the cylinder head. It operates within a range of 500 to 10,000 r/min, making it suitable for both gasoline and diesel engines..
The VP-1210 sensor is built for quick, non-invasive RPM measurement. Thanks to its magnetic base, you can attach it securely onto parts like a cylinder head bolt or engine housing. Engine combustion vibrations then generate consistent pulses detectable by compatible tachometers. The 2.9-meter cable connects directly to the measurement device, simplifying setup. Its rugged, heat-resistant build ensures sustained, accurate performance in harsh engine bay conditions.
High Sensitivity Magnetic Mount – Clamps securely using a built-in magnet onto engine bolts or cylinder heads for straightforward installation.
Compact and Durable Design – Small, lightweight construction built with heat-resistant materials for reliable use in engine environments.
Enhanced Sensitivity – Offers slightly better sensitivity compared to its predecessor (VP-201), improving detection under challenging signal conditions.
Direct-Attached Cable – Comes with a 2.9-meter attached signal cable for easy, plug-and-play connectivity.
Wide Operating Range – Effectively measures engine speeds between 500 and 10,000 r/min at operating temperatures ranging up to 100 °C.
